What changed in EZ Pipe

Every release, written for the people who use it. To update, close Revit and run Setup; the license on your PC is kept.

    Latest

    Join without dropping the rest of the run

    Fix

    • Join no longer drops the other end of the pipe. The whole connected set, pipes and fittings included, now moves together up to the part that stays fixed. Movement stops at that part and at equipment.

    Account and emails

    • Automatic emails (such as purchase confirmation and invites) go out in Portuguese, English or Spanish, depending on the person’s language.
    • New support address: [email protected]. Automatic emails are sent from [email protected] and replies go to support.
    • The site, account and downloads now live at ezbuild.com.br.

    How to update

    • Close Revit and run Setup. The license on this PC is kept.

    Extra care when moving and rotating

    What’s new

    • Safety net on the commands that move or rotate pipes: EZ Pipe records the position of neighboring parts and, after the edit, checks whether Revit deleted a fitting or something moved more than the command asked.
    • F1 on the EZ Pipe ribbon opens the package help.
    • EZ Pipe tab with the brand look.

    Improvements

    • Tweaks to Align, to connectors and to Join.
    • More robust session and license handling when you sign in and activate the PC.

    One PC per license and team invites

    What’s new

    • In the direct installer, each license now covers one PC at a time.
    • Organization pilot: the email invite ties the license to the email of whoever accepts it.
    • Card, invoices and cancellation in Stripe’s billing portal, opened from the Account.
    • Signing out clears this PC’s local unlock.

    Link your key and switch PCs

    What’s new

    • In the Account and in Revit you can link your license key to your email.
    • Switching PCs with one active at a time: activating on another computer signs the previous one out.

    App Store purchases unlock right away

    Fix

    • People who bought or are trying EZ Pipe from the Autodesk App Store are now unlocked before the EZ Pipe Account sign-in is requested.
    • Automatic updates now apply only to the direct installer, not to the store version.

    A Setup that does not need .NET

    What’s new

    • The Setup is self-contained: you do not need .NET installed on the PC.
